Meet Stitch, a lovable brindle baby with a heart full of affection and a nose for adventure! He dreams of XXL Kongs, cozy blankets, tasty snacks, and most importantly, a warm lap to call his own. Stitch is a pro at house-training and will let you know when nature calls with a gentle nudge of the bells on the back door. He's still perfecting his indoor manners and can get a little too excited when meeting new people, so keep those shoes tucked away securely – he has a particular fondness for smelly footwear!
Stitch can be a bit anxious and jealous when his human friends go outside without him, and he'll definitely try to join the fun. He's also a pretty good watchdog, quick to alert you to the mailman, delivery drivers, or any critters passing by. On the leash, Stitch is a reliable walking companion, though his prey drive means he's not suited for dog parks or homes with small, furry pets. He can coexist with other dogs his size, but be prepared for some boisterous play that might sound a bit rough! He’s territorial about his favorite lounging spots, so clear boundaries are important with other animals. Stitch has mastered "sit" and "shake" for treats, but he's still working on the "no begging at the dinner table" rule! Formal dog training would be a great asset for him. And when it comes to bath time... well, let's just say you'll want to wear your swimsuit!
Ideal Home
Stitch would thrive in a home where he can be your loyal companion. He's not recommended for homes with small, furry pets due to his prey drive, and while he can live with other dogs his size, clear boundaries around his lounging space are essential.
Ongoing Health
Stitch is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and neutered.
Training & Support
Stitch is house-trained and kennel-trained. He's learning his manners, especially when it comes to greeting people and not begging at the dinner table. He would benefit from some formal dog training.
