Dee Dee

Dee Dee is a stunning 5-year-old gal with so much love left to give! She was rescued through our humane agents from a difficult past where she was used for breeding. Unfortunately, she experienced some rough encounters with another dog in her previous home, which resulted in painful soft tissue damage to her hindquarters. Thankfully, her X-rays were clear, and with time and medication, she has healed beautifully.

Dee Dee adores people and is a master of giving the best kisses. She looks absolutely lovely snuggled up in her dog bed and is a wonderful companion. We believe she would do wonderfully with children, making her a perfect fit for a lucky family. She is house-trained and eagerly awaits her forever home.

Ideal Home

Dee Dee would thrive in a home without other dogs, as she tends to mirror their energy levels. While she generally ignores other dogs when passing, she can become easily aroused by barking. With redirection, she settles down quickly. We are unsure about her compatibility with cats but can conduct a cat test for approved applicants.

Ongoing Health

Dee Dee has fully recovered from her past injuries and her X-rays were clear. She received pain medication during her healing process.

Training & Support

Dee Dee is house-trained. She may need some guidance in redirecting her energy if other dogs bark, but she is quick to settle once refocused.
