REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Meet Rex, also known as Rexie the Bestie! This handsome 68lb Black Lab mix, estimated to be born in September 2020, is a volunteer favorite for a reason. Rex is a bubbly and outgoing guy who loves to play, show off his 'sit' for treats, and most importantly, spend time with his people. He absolutely thrives on affirmation and is guaranteed to shower you with kisses! He has a sweet personality and is a total snuggle bug, often thinking he's a lap dog despite his nearly 70lb frame.

Rex was rescued as a stray and has overcome a difficult past. He's ready to share all the love he has to give with his forever family. He's done wonderfully at adoption events, even attending an Astro's watch party and a dog-friendly restaurant with his best buddy Bambi, where he was a perfect gentleman.

Ideal Home

Rex would love a home where he can continue to enjoy playtime and receive plenty of affection.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He is dog selective, showing friendliness towards female dogs and requires proper introductions for any male dog interactions.

Transporation

Rex is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included and may go to various pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track your dog's transport via the Life360 app and receive updates.
