My name is Cornelius, and I'm a handsome 4-year-old Shepherd mix who weighs about 54 pounds. I ended up at the shelter after someone found me and brought me here. I was so hopeful, thinking I was going to a safe and loving home, but instead, I found myself in a place with many other scared dogs. Months have passed, and my family never returned. The stress of being here has become overwhelming, and I've been given a deadline. I'm a shy boy at first, but I absolutely melt for ear rubs! I seem to do best with calmer dogs and have passed temperament tests with several other dogs. Please don't let my story end here; I dream of a loving home.

Cornelius is located at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, 14041 Elsworth Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92553. Adoption hours are Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 5 pm, and Saturday 10:30 am - 3:30 pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and Holidays.
