Blue is a loving two-year-old American Pitbull Terrier whose gentle spirit and striking blue coat with white accents make him an unforgettable companion. He is a large boy at 75 pounds and carries himself with a mix of playful curiosity and tender devotion to his people. Blue adores romping in a fenced yard with his favorite toy, a big ball on a rope, and he lights up during car rides where new sights and scents pass by! At heart, Blue is a constant companion who leans in for snuggles and happily soaks up attention from familiar faces and friendly strangers alike. He knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning through positive reinforcement.

Ideal Home

Blue needs a calm, stable environment with plenty of one on one time. He may be most comfortable as the only pet at first or with slow, supportive introductions that build trust over time, as he has had past altercations with other dogs, though the exact triggers are unknown. His experiences with other dogs have been mixed, so thoughtful, patient introductions and careful observation are important. His compatibility with cats and children is still unknown. He may chew paper or cardboard if left alone for longer stretches.
