Hi, I'm Alice Cooper

I'm a 3-year-old Chihuahua with a big personality and an even bigger heart... once I feel safe I've been through a lot of change recently, so I can be a little nervous at first-but if you're patient with me, I promise I'll show you just how fun, quirky, and loving I really am. Foster mom says "I'm the perfect balance of playful & chill".

When I'm unsure, I might retreat to my crate (my safe space) or get startled by loud noises. I just need someone who will go slow with me and let me warm up at my own pace. The good news? It doesn't take me long to come out of my shell

Once I'm comfortable, my personality really shines! I get the zoomies around the house, love to play with squeaky toys (especially my Lambchop ), and will absolutely make you laugh with my silly, spirited energy

I'm a great sleeper-I'll happily sleep through the night in my crate (a full 8 hours!) and I'm super quiet. I'm also very cuddly and love being close to my person-on the couch, next to your legs, or curled up right beside you

Walks are one of my favorite things ever! I get so excited when you grab my leash, and I love exploring the world... even if I take my time sniffing everything (I'm not in a rush, okay? ). I'm still learning confidence out and about, so slow introductions to people and dogs help me feel safe.

I get along great with other dogs once I warm up-I even lived with a big pitbull mix and loved to play! I may be a little shy or snarky at first, but give me time and I'll show my playful side

Potty-wise, I'm still learning. Right now, I do best going potty off-leash in a fenced yard, where I can take my time finding the perfect spot. Because of this, a fenced-in yard is really important for me at this stage.

I also enjoy treats like peanut butter, cheese, and yogurt (yum ), and I'm currently transitioning to a new diet to help with a few little spots in my coat.

Must be allowed on the furniture-loves cuddling next to you, on top of you, and even burrowing under the blankets Would do best in a home with a fenced yard, as she prefers to potty in the backyard and loves lounging in the sun (she still enjoys walks!) Would thrive with a hybrid/work-from-home family, as she loves being with her people, though she does well crated while you're away Great with other friendly dogs, especially those who enjoy playing; larger dogs are okay if they're gentle and respectful Unknown with cats (but would probably be good with them because of her gentle nature) Best suited for a home without young children, as she takes time to warm up to new people Crate-trained and sleeps through the night; would probably love to sleep with her human in bed at night though; happily uses her crate for naps on her own Loves toys, playing with other dogs, and relaxing by the window watching the world go by POTTY TRAINED / CRATE TRAINED

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.

Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
