Krockett

Krockett is a joyful and loyal Labrador mix who is approximately 1 year old and weighs about 55 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Krockett is always happy, smiling, and full of playful energy. He’s intelligent, polite, and would absolutely love an active family that enjoys spending time outdoors with him. He is crate trained, leash trained, and a great companion for car rides.

Ideal Home

Krockett would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard. He needs an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and has a high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies. A background in dog behavior and training is preferred, as is an open mind about the needs of rescued animals.

Ongoing Health

Krockett has been neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworms. He has a health certificate and vaccination booklet. He is not yet house-trained.

Training & Support

While Krockett is crate and leash trained, he is not yet house-trained. His foster family is unable to house-train each pet due to the number of animals in their care. He will require patience and continued training in this area.

Transportation

Krockett is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. He is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A transport fee of $250.00, paid by the adopter, will apply and is due prior to departure.
