I'm Josie, a sweet girl who is still learning to trust. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was very scared and unsure of the world around me. Everything felt new and overwhelming, but with patience and kindness from the staff and volunteers, I'm starting to come out of my shell. I'm still building my confidence every day, so I'll need a family that understands that trust takes time. The best things in life are worth waiting for, and I promise that every small step forward will be a victory we can celebrate together. Once I learn that I'm safe and loved, I'm sure my true personality will continue to shine brighter and brighter.
