Milky Way is a charming and playful 8.6 lb Chihuahua mix, born on January 10, 2026. He's a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, men, and women, making him a fantastic addition to many families. Milky Way loves to run and enjoy life, always ready to join in on the fun. He's generally quiet, but his sweet personality speaks volumes. He's comfortable sleeping in an open crate, which he uses as his safe space. Like many young dogs, he's curious and enjoys chewing, so he'll need patience and guidance as he matures. Milky Way's journey began with uncertainty, but thankfully, he was rescued and is now safe and loved, eagerly searching for a forever family to shower with endless devotion.
Ideal Home
We're looking for a home with a fenced backyard, an active family that enjoys outdoor activities, and individuals with a genuine intention to rescue and provide a dog with protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is a plus, or a willingness to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential.
Ongoing Health
Milky Way has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, and microchipped. He's had a 4DX test, a negative heartworm test, and is on monthly preventive protection (Nexgard Spectra). He also comes with a health certificate and vaccine booklet. Please note that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period due to past experiences.
Training & Support
Milky Way is not house-trained and will require patience and understanding as he continues to mature and learn.

Transportation
Milky Way is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States and Canada. A transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport process involves scheduled trips with a dedicated team, comprehensive paperwork including USDA health certificates, and real-time updates throughout the journey.
