Murphy

Murphy came to us from a local animal control after a very difficult loss. He was understandably scared and a bit defensive at first, trying to act tough. But underneath that tough exterior is a sweet, lovable boy who just craves attention! He's a semi-senior gentleman who's lost his teeth but not his charm. He's looking for a quiet retirement home where he can be the center of attention.

Ideal Home

Murphy would do best as the only dog in the home, though he has tolerated other dogs here as long as they give each other plenty of space. He's a fan of cats, so a feline friend would be just fine! His ideal human will understand his "small dog scare tactics" and not be taken in by his bluster.

Ongoing Health

Murphy is a toothless, semi-senior dog. He has been neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Murphy is still learning how to navigate the world after his big life change. His adopter will need to be patient and understand his initial defensive behaviors.
