Flint Grove Penelope

Flint Grove Penelope is a handsome puppy with a master's degree in the slow tail wag. He's mostly soft white with the cutest brown bum spot, and his silly puppy antics and warm, affectionate spirit are sure to delight you. Estimated to be around 3 months old and weighing just over 22 pounds, he's a possible Labrador/Shepherd mix. Flint Grove is a rescue, so his breed and age are our best guess, but what's certain is this sweet pup is ready for a home filled with love and affection!

Flint Grove is currently in a loving foster home with his nine siblings, so he definitely knows how to play. He's gently curious and ready to investigate everything, making him the ultimate investigator! He's interested in all the toys, and would love lots of stuffies to call his own, regardless of whether they're dog or cat toys! We love his silly and goofy spirit, and we're sure you will too! Flint Grove has a curious and investigative nature, which makes him a bit more independent and adventurous. We predict he'll be just as eager to join you on walks and hikes as he is for snuggle time by your side. He's food-motivated, which will make future training a breeze.

Ongoing Health

All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also received a heartworm test and treatment if needed. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Flint Grove is food-motivated, which will make future training a lot easier. He will benefit from continued guidance, training, and positive reinforcement as he grows. He has also received training for crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Flint Grove is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This service ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates on a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
