Simon

Simon is a wonderful 1-2 year old male Shar-Pei with a super soft, fluffy coat. He's a happy-go-lucky boy who just loves being alive and spending time with his people!

Simon arrived at a shelter in southern California for reasons unknown. He did well with other dogs in his kennel and in playgroups, showing he can be a great canine companion. He did have one eye that was a bit "winky," which the vet diagnosed as entropion. While he was being neutered, the vet also performed entropion surgery on his right eye to correct this. Simon weighs about 50 pounds and absolutely adores pets and attention. He also enjoys zooming around with his foster sister dog. Simon is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Ideal Home

Simon would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and playtime. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well in playgroups.

Ongoing Health

Simon underwent entropion surgery on his right eye during his neuter procedure. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Simon is reported to be house-trained. He enjoys interacting with other dogs, so continued socialization and positive reinforcement training will help him continue to be a well-adjusted companion.
