About Atlas

Atlas is a big ol' lovable lug who thinks he's a lapdog! We're guessing he's a Lab mix and his approximate DOB is July, 2022. Atlas is a volunteer favorite, always happy with every person he has met. He is housebroken, enjoys people, walks well on a leash, and loves long walks. While he isn't a dog park dog, our buddy always has a smile and a tail wag ready for his people. Atlas's adoption fee is paid thanks to the generosity of FOPAS Volunteer Jan Long!

Ideal Home

Atlas requires a home without small animals due to his high prey drive. Due to his size and strength, he would be best suited for older children. He is dog selective and will require a meet-and-greet with any dogs in the home. A home where he can be your one and only dog would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Atlas is deaf in one ear due to ear ablation surgery to relieve a chronic issue. He came through the surgery with flying colors and feels great! Through it all, Atlas maintained his happy disposition.

Training & Support

Atlas walks well on a leash. His future family should be aware of his high prey drive and large/strong build.
