Meet Sage!
This spirited five-year-old German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and American Pitbull Terrier mix is a glowing blend of intelligence, affection, and playful charm. Sage is a loyal, medium-sized companion at 44 pounds who thrives on connection, cuddles, and adventure! She’s a great communicator—whether she’s ready for a walk, asking for a tummy rub, or signaling it’s mealtime, Sage knows how to make herself understood with heart-melting charm. She’s incredibly smart and has already mastered sit, down, and up, eager to show off her skills to win a smile (or a treat!). Her days are happiest when they include plenty of sniff-filled strolls, playful bone-hiding missions, and time curled up close to her people.
Sage is house-trained, non-destructive, and generally calm when left alone—though she’ll be happiest with someone who’s around often, as she experiences mild separation anxiety and much prefers a cozy bed to a crate. She absolutely lights up around young children and has a gentle, affectionate nature that makes her a fantastic playmate!
Ideal Home
Sage would thrive with a calm, dog-savvy guardian who can manage interactions thoughtfully, or in a home where she can be the only pup and enjoy the spotlight all to herself. She's not a fan of cats and would do best in a feline-free environment. A home with a fenced yard and plenty of time to share with her people would allow her to truly flourish.

Training & Support
Sage is house-trained and has mastered "sit," "down," and "up." While generally calm when left alone, she can experience mild separation anxiety and prefers a cozy bed to a crate. When it comes to other dogs, she can be selective and has had a few scuffles, mostly while on a leash, which appear tied to certain high-energy or intense dog encounters, particularly when she's feeling restrained. We are including a month of professional behavioral support to help Sage settle into her next chapter with ease and reassurance.
