Chief is a big-hearted goofball with a love for adventure and stuffed toys! His story started on the side of the road with nothing but a giant bag of dog food and a whole lot of hope. Lucky for him, a kind rescuer spotted him and pulled over. Chief, thrilled to see a friendly face, hopped right into the car and never looked back! Now safe and thriving, Chief is a strong, happy boy who's full of life and love. He's got a big personality and doesn't quite realize how strong he is, so a home with older kids would be best (unless your toddlers like to be playfully bowled over). He absolutely LOVES stuffed toys - he'll sit oh-so-politely to get one... and then joyfully destroy it in under five minutes. Rinse and repeat. It's his favorite sport! Chief knows how to sit and will flash you a charming smile when waiting for treats. He gets along with other dogs, but he prefers more easy-going, submissive buddies - alpha vibes aren't really his thing. He's also an adventure pup at heart and would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, and all things outdoors.
