Diva is a delightful 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix, currently weighing around 35 pounds. She's a bundle of energy, playfulness, and affection, always ready to shower her favorite people with love. Diva truly shines when she has a canine companion to share her zest for life with, especially another dog who enjoys active play. She's a happy girl whose tail is constantly wagging, whether she's exploring on her own or romping with a furry friend. Even when she's off on her own adventures, she's just as content. Diva walks beautifully on a leash, staying close and polite without any pulling, making her a joy to have by your side on walks. She's mostly indifferent to cats, though she has been known to sneak a nibble of their food if the opportunity arises! While she hasn't lived with children before, her foster believes she'd do wonderfully with kids, especially those who can handle her enthusiasm and keep a watchful eye on their snacks. Diva is crate trained and comfortable with short stints in her crate, usually during meal times or when her foster is out. She's incredibly food-motivated, which makes her a quick learner, but it's best to feed her separately to prevent any food-sharing misunderstandings. She's a great sharer when it comes to toys, though, happily playing with them without any fuss. Diva is outgoing, smart, and affectionate, greeting new people with a friendly wag of her tail. She's still getting used to car rides, so longer trips will require patience and gradual introduction. One of Diva's most endearing quirks is her vocalization when corrected; she'll let out a howl, as if she's playfully arguing her point, making it seem like she's having a charming conversation.
Ideal Home
Diva would thrive in a home where someone is around for most of the day to provide her with the structure, love, and activity she craves. She'd benefit from regular walks, plenty of playtime, and the comfort of sleeping close to her people. A home with another playful dog would be ideal for her.
Ongoing Health
