Stevie is a wonderful 3-year-old, 70-lb spayed female looking for her forever home! She's been with her current family for 2.5 years but has recently started showing protective behavior towards their resident dog. Because of this, Stevie will do best as the only pet in the household, where she won't feel the need to compete or guard her space. She absolutely adores people, is very affectionate, and deeply bonded to her family. Stevie is fully house-trained, loves car rides, and is gentle and appropriate around young children. She can be a bit anxious with loud noises and thunderstorms, and she can be strong on leash, so a front-clip harness works best for her. While she has been neutral around other dogs in public settings, her challenges have been specific to sharing her home environment.
