ZEUS - Goofy boy!

Meet ZEUS! This goofy boy is a 9-11 year old Husky mix who weighs about 35 lbs. Zeus is at the heart of why our rescue group exists and is a special part of our story. He's a couch potato at heart, enjoying a leisurely life, but his spunk comes alive for walks and mealtime, often resulting in a happy dance and tippy-taps. He loves all food, including wet, dry, and even the occasional cat food snack, and is a very good boy who doesn't food guard. Zeus is also a quiet companion, barely barking and shedding surprisingly little for a Husky mix.

Ideal Home

Zeus is perfect for someone who enjoys a slow-paced life and appreciates a quiet, sweet companion. He would do well in a home with adult visitors and is excellent with other dogs of all sizes, including puppies. While generally indifferent to cats, Zeus can playfully pounce, so a home with cats would require a careful introduction and separation when unsupervised, given Zeus's size.

Training & Support

Zeus is an easy-going dog who is generally well-behaved. He is house-trained and doesn't react to other dogs he encounters on walks. His primary needs are love, good food, and a few daily walks to keep him happy and healthy.

Transporation

Zeus is currently in a foster home in Puerto Rico and will only fly to his forever home once adopted. We focus our adoptions on the DC/Maryland/Virginia area but can easily transport Zeus to the NY/NJ area.
