Dempsey is a 9-year-old Boxer who has been patiently waiting for his forever family at the senior dog sanctuary for a year. While he may be a little shy at first, give him a chance, and he'll show you just how much love he has to give. Dempsey can be cautious with new people, places, or situations, preferring to take things at his own pace. However, with patience and understanding, his true, affectionate personality shines through, and he becomes a loyal companion eager to share slobbery Boxer kisses. He still has plenty of enthusiasm for life, enjoying walks, outdoor adventures, and car rides with his head out the window. Dempsey loves spending time with people and gets excited when he sees them, sometimes forgetting his manners and jumping up to say hello. He's looking for a family to help him continue working on this and provide the guidance he needs to be his best self.

Ideal Home

Dempsey would do best as the only pet in the home and prefers a calmer environment. He is looking for a household that isn't constantly busy with lots of visitors, a quieter home where he can feel secure and build strong bonds with his family.

Dempsey is a senior dog who is up-to-date on all vaccinations and has been neutered.
