Auri - The Cuddlebug

Meet Auri, a sweet 1-year-old, 23-lb lady who has been patiently waiting for her happy ending. Auri was found behind an abandoned school in Puerto Rico with her mother and siblings, trying to survive with little shelter and no one looking out for them. Thankfully, rescue stepped in and gave her the chance she deserved. Since then, Auri has spent many months in a loving foster home, learning what it means to be safe, cared for, and loved. She has adapted beautifully to life in a home and has blossomed into an incredibly sweet, affectionate girl. She is gentle, loving, and always happy to be around her people. Sometimes it feels like she knows she was rescued, because she approaches life with so much gratitude and joy. Auri has all the best qualities of a family dog – she is affectionate, well-adjusted, and ready to be someone's loyal companion. She loves attention, enjoys being part of the family, and is excited for whatever adventure comes next. After waiting so patiently, Auri deserves a family of her own. She has done the hard part. Now she just needs someone to say yes.

Ideal Home

Auri would love a home where she can be part of the family and receive plenty of attention. She has done well with other dogs and cats, and has also shown positive interactions with children.

Ongoing Health

Auri is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Auri is house-trained.

Transporation

Auri is currently in Puerto Rico but is ready to travel to either a foster home or her forever home in the States. This travel is included in her adoption fee.
