Dakota

Dakota is a beautiful 2-year-old lady who weighs 41 pounds and is fully grown. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and, despite her difficult past, her spirit shines through! Dakota was initially a bit shy but has blossomed into a confident and loving companion. She's a social butterfly who enjoys snuggles, playtime with her human, and making friends with other dogs who have known only the good life. Dakota has helped her friend Ducky come out of her shell, proving what a wonderful influence she can be!

Ideal Home

Dakota would thrive in a home that can offer her comfort, warmth, and plenty of opportunities for indoor and outdoor play. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well in a home with canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Dakota has been spayed and is up-to-date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee covers her spay/neuter, rabies, Bordetella, 3 Parvo/distemper vaccines, 2 Lepto vaccines, several rounds of deworming, microchip, and a heartworm test.

Dakota is learning that life is fun and that people can be kind. She thrives on positive reinforcement and enjoys playtime. With continued patience and love, she will continue to flourish.
