Princesa is a delightful 2-year-old Belgian Shepherd mix, weighing around 27 lbs. She's a young, playful, and incredibly cheerful girl who thrives on affection and loves to be close to her humans. Princesa is very social and enjoys exploring new surroundings with enthusiastic energy. Her wagging tail and sweet disposition make her an absolute joy!
Her journey started tough; at just a month and a half old, she was abandoned and spent a night crying until she was found seeking refuge under a car. After a vet check and a loving foster home, she's now ready to find her forever family.
Ideal Home
Princesa would love a home where she can continue to be the joyful, playful, and affectionate dog she is. She is not good with cats. She prefers to eat her meals without other dogs approaching her food.
Ongoing Health
Princesa has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, is dewormed, and microchipped. She has also had a 4DX test and a heartworm test, both of which were negative. She is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra for fleas, ticks, and heartworm, and has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Princesa barks to alert you to noises or when she wants something. Like many rescued dogs, she may need time and patience to adjust to a new environment and may not be fully house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences, so patience, understanding, and a consistent routine will be crucial in helping her build trust and strengthen your bond.

Transportation
Princesa is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip if adopted. Transportation is available to the adopter's home address for an additional fee.
