About Penny aka Pink
Penny is a 12-month-old beagle hound mix with an incredibly outgoing, radiant, and sociable personality. She is the only female among her 11 siblings and has a wonderful character: sweet, gentle, playful, and eager to please. Penny is motivated by food, toys, and praise, making her a joy to train. Fun and happy-go-lucky, she loves everyone she meets. Penny is friendly, curious, and free-spirited. She has interacted with nearly 500 people and played with over 200 dogs thus far. Penny has been raised around various animals—including cats, dogs of all ages and sizes, rabbits, birds, turtles, goats, chickens, and even a somewhat jerk rooster—and she treats them all with respect. Having been around children as young as 2, Penny adapts well to those situations. She rides comfortably in the car and enjoys being held, petted, and loved—her snuggles are the best! Penny walks well on a leash and is both potty-trained and crate-trained. She is actively learning basic obedience commands and is a pleasure to train. Penny is smart. Despite being smaller than most in her litter, Penny is spirited and can hold her own. She is adventurous, enjoying trail walks and playing in the water. Penny is gentle for her size and takes treats nicely. She has a medium but active energy level. Penny is an easygoing puppy who would thrive in a home with other pets. Raised with 9 brothers, Penny is a strong-willed pup who doesn't take nonsense. She stands her ground with confidence. Her personality is both soft and strong, and as she grows, it evolves beautifully, making her a sweet, snuggly joy that brings a smile to your heart. It's a precious, gentle energy that truly sets her apart.
