Meet Pepper!

Pepper is a sweet and friendly girl, about two years old and weighing in at a portable 35-40lbs. She arrived at our rescue after running out of time at a local shelter. Thankfully, she's now safe and sound, eagerly awaiting her forever home! Pepper is a wonderful walking companion who doesn't pull on the leash, preferring to take in all the interesting smells. She's a social butterfly, greeting new people, dogs, and children with enthusiasm. You'll be happy to know she's already potty trained and crate trained!

Ideal Home

Pepper enjoys being close to her people but also loves to play with other dogs, no matter their play style. She's curious about cats and may bark to alert you to their presence, but she doesn't try to approach them.

Ongoing Health

Pepper has a very minor old injury or mild deformity to one of her back feet. She is very mobile, and most people don't notice it unless they are looking closely. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and on Simparica Trio for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Pepper will bark to let you know if something new is around, but she is not aggressive. She's an affectionate pup who is eager to form a deep bond with her special human. Pepper is smart and very trainable!

Transportation

Pepper is currently being fostered in Nevada County. She can be transported to our Los Angeles and Bay Area adoption events.
