Meet Dexter – Your Bold and Loyal Adventure Buddy!

Dexter, born around September 28th, 2021, is a sweet, spirited boy with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. He was once a beloved house pet but found himself needing a new start when his previous owner could no longer care for him. Now, he’s ready to find a forever family that matches his zest for life and need for companionship. Dexter is housetrained, social, and full of playful energy. He’s bold and free-spirited, with a deep desire to always be near his people—or a canine buddy. Being alone isn’t his style; he thrives when he has a companion, whether it’s a human or another dog. For Dexter, love means closeness, and he’ll happily follow you from room to room just to stay connected.

Ideal Home

Dexter would thrive in an active home with a family who enjoys hikes, outdoor adventures, or simply lots of time together. He MUST be in a home with another playful dog.

Ongoing Health

Dexter is microchipped, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He receives regular heartworm medication, flea and tick treatment, and deworming medication.

Training & Support

Dexter is housetrained and social. He thrives with companionship, so a home with another dog would be ideal.

Transporation

Dexter is located in Columbia, KY. He is available for transport to Greenwood, IN, Wilmington, OH, and Washington, PA. Please note that transport is only available for approved applications and requires a deposit and signed transport contract.
