Copper

Copper is a handsome hound with a heart full of affection! This approximately 2-year-old, 60 lb male Hound mix was rescued after being abandoned at a lake, and now he's ready to find his forever family. Copper is a super friendly and smart boy who is motivated by treats. He's great with other dogs and would be delighted to share his home with a playful canine companion. He is also good with cats.

Ideal Home

Copper needs a secure, solid wood-fenced backyard to keep him safe during his adventures. While he's friendly with other dogs and cats, he needs a home without farm animals due to his curious nature.

Ongoing Health

Copper is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

He's already crate and house-trained! Copper walks well on a leash, but he does tend to pull, so a harness is recommended for his walks.
