Meet Pepe Le Pew, a charming 9-week-old (estimated DOB March 2026) Chihuahua/Terrier mix who currently weighs about 3 pounds but is sure to grow! This little masked bandit, found abandoned on the streets of Houston with his littermates, is a true sweetheart. Pepe adores naps, puppy kisses, and cozy snuggles, preferring cuddles over causing any trouble. He's a gentle soul with a lot of love to give and is guaranteed to melt your heart with his charming personality.
Ideal Home
Pepe is a brave and social little pup who we believe will do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided they are introduced gently and appropriately. Given his small size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs, and all interactions should be supervised. Because Pepe is so young, he cannot be left alone for long periods. We are seeking a home where someone is present most of the time to assist with socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours a day, we will only consider your application if there is another adult in the household available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
Pepe is a healthy puppy. As with all puppies his age, we cannot predict his exact breed mix or final adult size, so adopters should be prepared for any surprises that come with a mixed breed!
Training & Support
Pepe is still working on potty and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue with consistent training, frequent potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and plenty of patience as he learns. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Pepe is no exception.

Transporation
Pepe is currently in a foster home in Austin, Texas. He can be transported to his approved adopter once a match is made. Transports occur every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport after approval.
