Louie

Meet Louie, a sweet 8-year-old, 13-pound girl who may be a little timid at first, but with a little patience, she'll blossom into your most snuggly companion! Affectionately called "Bobo" by her foster family, Louie loves spending time outdoors and is perfectly content to nap peacefully in a comfy recliner. She showers her foster family with morning face licks and is happiest with familiar people, though she's a bit shy around strangers. Louie gets along well with other dogs and older children. She's mostly house-trained for outdoor potty breaks but occasionally marks inside, especially on soft items like blankets, beds, and toys. She's getting the hang of leash walking and does best when she has a canine friend to follow. Louie prefers a harness over a collar and strikes a hilarious "Superman" pose when lifted! With her soft, long fur and adorable ear tufts, Louie is a true beauty. She adores treats and is sure to be a wonderful companion once she feels settled and secure in her new home.

Ideal Home

Louie needs a patient and understanding family that will give her the time and space she needs to adjust. She's comfortable with other dogs and older children.

Ongoing Health

Louie has been spayed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ticks, dewormed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Louie is working on her house-training and may occasionally mark inside, particularly on soft items. She's also getting used to leash walking and does best with a harness and a canine buddy to follow.
