Rico and Halo are a package deal! They've formed an unbreakable bond and we'd be overjoyed to see them find a home where they can continue their companionship. Both are approximately 2 years old and are ready to steal your heart.
Rico, a former stray, is a frisbee-throwing, ball-fetching dynamo! He's intelligent, quick to learn, and enjoys car rides. He's also a pro at using a doggy door and walks nicely on a leash. While he can be a bit reserved when meeting new dogs, he warms up quickly and enjoys a good romp once acquainted.
Halo, with her Boston Terrier looks but a hearty 70 lb frame, is a sweet girl who loves belly rubs. She's a strong pup with a curious nature, so a fenced yard is a must to keep her safe. Halo enjoys playing with toys and balls, especially her favorite squeaky Kong ball. She's also good with dogs who are friendly and enjoy a good game of rough-and-tumble play.
Ideal Home
These two would thrive in a home without other dogs, cats, or small children. A fenced yard is essential for their safety and playtime. They need an adopter who is knowledgeable about dogs and understands the commitment required for two energetic pups. Daily playtime, including frisbee and fetch, is a must to keep these active companions happy.
Ongoing Health
Rico is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all his vaccinations and preventatives. Halo has successfully completed her heartworm treatment. Both dogs must remain on year-round heartworm preventative, and their adopter must be committed to continuing this for their health. Halo had skin lesions around her neck, which have been treated.
Training & Support
Rico can be a bit grumbly when meeting new dogs but warms up quickly. Halo can get excited around treats and toys and may try to investigate what you have. Providing them with sturdy toys is recommended as stuffed toys don't last long with Halo.
