Bonnie

Bonnie came to our rescue in 2021 after being found as a stray, likely having recently given birth. Animal control searched for her puppies but couldn't find them. Initially, Bonnie was very shut down and fearful, hiding in a corner at the shelter. It took a lot of patience for our volunteers to gain her trust and get her out, but she quickly bonded with one of them. After a few months of decompression and adjusting to home life, Bonnie has blossomed into a sweet girl, though she remains a bit shy. She has so much love to share and enjoys lounging on the couch.

Ideal Home

Bonnie needs to be the only animal in the home as she is not comfortable sharing her space. She would do best in a home with children 8 years and older. A fenced backyard is required for her safety and to allow her to get her energy out.

Ongoing Health

Bonnie is a healthy 8-year-old girl and is doing well at vet visits. She tolerates nail trims without issue.

Training & Support

Bonnie is house and crate trained. She enjoys a good run in the pasture a few times a day to manage her energy.
