Snoop

Meet Snoop! This handsome 3-year-old boy is about 50 lbs of pure joy and love. Snoop came to us after his beloved owner entered hospice, and after a month at the SF shelter, he's now thriving in a foster home. Despite the upheaval, Snoop has been an absolute angel! He's an active guy who would love a family that enjoys walks and hikes. A yard would be a bonus, as he loves to prance around with his toys and roll in the grass. But don't let his energy fool you – when it's time for cuddles, Snoop is all in and is a big snugglebug who loves to be near his people, preferably with his head in your lap. He's also a pro at using a doggie door and is completely potty trained.

Ideal Home

Snoop would do best with a family who enjoys being active and can provide him with a yard to play in. While he's a loving dog, his exuberance might not be the best fit for very small children, but he'd absolutely love to have an older, dog-savvy kid to play with! He tends to be neutral around other dogs, but if one barks at him, he'll bark back. He has shown no aggression or reactivity, and we're told he likes small dogs. His compatibility with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Snoop is neutered and vaccinated. His DNA results are pending, but we suspect he's a supermutt!

Training & Support

Snoop is already potty trained and quickly mastered a doggie door. He's a smart boy who enjoys being around his people.
