Meet Delta Dawn!
Delta Dawn is a sweet and loving 40lb Cattle Dog mix with an estimated birthday of 5/6/2022. Her journey to us was not an easy one. She arrived pregnant and was found on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Thankfully, we were able to say "yes" and bring her into our care. She went to a loving foster home where she was able to safely welcome her puppies. Sadly, all 11 of her puppies experienced fading puppy syndrome and did not survive, a heartbreaking loss for everyone.
Despite her past, Delta Dawn is a ray of sunshine. She has the softest fur and is incredibly sweet, always eager for a good petting session. Cuddles are a favorite pastime for her, and she even enjoys trips to Tractor Supply, especially if it means a bath – she doesn't mind them at all! She loves exploring the toy and treat aisles, taking in all the wonderful smells. Delta Dawn is a truly special girl with one blue eye and one brown, and her adorable, perky ears are sure to catch your attention. She doesn't shy away from extra love and attention when out and about and is looking for her forever person to shower her with belly rubs and show her the love she truly deserves.

Ongoing Health
Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
We are currently working on leash training with Delta Dawn. She is full of life and eager to explore, sometimes moving faster than her foster mom can walk, but she is very trainable because she loves to please. She has recently learned to play with balls and loves to fetch them, though we are still working on her bringing them back. She is also kennel and potty trained.
