Meet Narni, a gorgeous 1.5-year-old female American Staffordshire mix who weighs around 52lbs. Narni is a bundle of energy and love, always ready for a good time! She's a social butterfly who has done well with older children (ages 8 and 14) and all the adults she's encountered. Narni does have some puppy exuberance and may jump when excited, so she'd be best suited for a home without very young children.
She's also shown a talent for matching the energy of mellow, resident dogs and loves a good game of tug-of-war. Once she's tired herself out, Narni is a champion snuggler and ready to relax. Her foster mom has noted that Narni tends to think resident kitties are fun to chase, so a cat-free home would be ideal for her. She walks well on a leash, sleeps soundly in her crate, and is already house-trained. Narni does have a tendency to eat quickly, so feeding her separately from other pets and using a slow feeder in her crate is recommended.
Ideal Home
Narni would thrive in an active family that can keep up with her playful spirit and provide her with plenty of opportunities for fun and exercise. A home without cats is a must.
Ongoing Health
Narni is a healthy young lady!
Training & Support
Narni is house-trained and walks well on a leash. She does have puppy energy and can jump when excited, so continued positive reinforcement training will help her learn to greet people calmly. She is also a fast eater and will benefit from using a slow feeder.
