About KING

King is a 6-8 year old, 55 lb bundle of joy with a fluffy tail that makes him truly unique! He's got an energy level that's a solid 10 out of 10, always ready for adventure and playtime. Despite his active nature, King is also incredibly sweet, quiet, and gentle. He's a well-rounded companion who thrives on an active lifestyle. King is fairly self-sufficient and not high-maintenance, demonstrating good common sense and responsiveness when asked to do things like go into his crate or be quiet. He's not a big barker, but he will alert you to anything unusual. While he appreciates a good meal, he doesn't have a high food or prey drive. King is a smart boy who can be a little mischievous, as he once chewed up a plastic water bowl, so metal bowls are recommended. He's crate and house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He doesn't seem to have any storm or separation anxiety. King rides well in the car and enjoys looking out the window, but could also be harnessed for safety. He walks nicely on a leash and is happiest when he's on the go. After a day of activity, he's content to relax and chill.

Ideal Home

King would love a family with an active lifestyle who can provide him with plenty of activity and enrichment. He enjoys being around people and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

King was found hit by a car and has physical scars from his past. These scars do not impact his mobility or quality of life.

Training & Support

King is crate and house-trained. He is generally quiet but will bark to alert you of anything unusual. Metal water bowls are recommended to prevent chewing.
