Moose

Moose is a handsome 3-year-old Terrier mix with a stunning red merle coat, making him look like a work of art! This 62lb charmer came to us as a stray and was sadly abandoned, but he's now safe and sound, dreaming of his truly forever home. Moose is a lover of people and generally does well with other dogs, though he does enjoy his independence. He's great on a leash and has a sweet, goofy side where he sometimes forgets his size and thinks he's a lap dog! He's good with older children, but his previous experiences mean he hasn't met any younger than 10.

Ideal Home

Moose would love a home where he can be an independent yet loving companion. He's good with older children and doesn't require a fenced yard.

Ongoing Health

Moose's adoption fee includes being up-to-date on vaccines and being microchipped.

Training & Support

Moose is great on a leash and eager to please. Introductions to any resident dogs should be done properly.

Moose is currently at HSSM. Transportation is available to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports.
