Lucy

Hi there! I’m Lucy, a one-year-old sweetheart with a silky-soft coat and a gentle soul. I'm about 35-40 pounds, already spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm a mellow and easy-going girl who just loves to be near my people.

I do have a bit of a vocal streak – you might hear a little "aroooo" when I want something, when you wake up, or when you come home and I'm super excited to see you! I'm also smart and obedient, and I already know "sit" with both verbal cues and hand signals. I learned house training very quickly and I thrive on routine. Bedtime is a favorite, and I sleep soundly through the night like a respectful little snugglebug.

I get along wonderfully with big dogs, little dogs, and cats.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can be close to my people. I can be a little protective of my dinner, so a home that can accommodate me eating in my crate would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

I healed beautifully from an injury to the top of my head. The hair never grew back, so I have a cute little bald spot that just adds to my unique charm!

Training & Support

I'm already house-trained and know how to "sit." I have a mild food aggression, which we manage by having me eat in my crate. Outside of meal times, I'm perfectly happy sharing space, even with treats around.
