Paisley Love is a sweet and affectionate 67-pound girl, estimated to be about 3 years old, with a heart full of love to give! She's a friendly pit bull mix who greets everyone with warmth and a gentle request for belly rubs. Paisley is happiest when she's by your side, and she's eager to please and responsive to gentle guidance. On leash, she walks at an easy pace and, with a little encouragement, can settle down when she gets wiggly around other dogs.
Ideal Home
Paisley would be a perfect companion for a family with older children who can appreciate her couch-potato nature and enjoy snuggle time. She can't quite keep up with the high energy of very young children. While she enjoys the company of calm and confident dogs who aren't easily fazed by her initial playful enthusiasm, she would also be perfectly content being your one and only furry friend.
Ongoing Health
Paisley is a rescue, so her exact breed and birthday are not guaranteed. She is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Paisley is responsive to commands and gentle corrections. She has the basics of leash walking down and checks in with her person when passing other dogs. She does best with calm, confident dogs who are not overwhelmed by her initial excitement followed by short-lived play.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
