Cocoa

Cocoa is a 9-month-old, 53lb Lab/AmStaff/Pittie mix who is the definition of a velcro dog! She's a sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be glued to her human's side, following you everywhere (yes, even into the bathroom!) just to stay close. Cocoa absolutely melts for belly rubs, adores kisses, and snuggles like it's her full-time job. She's gentle, loving, and full of heart, making her the perfect companion for someone who wants a dog to adore them endlessly.

Ideal Home

Cocoa would flourish in a home with:

• Another friendly dog, as she has never been alone since birth and thrives with canine companionship.
• Humans who love snuggles, belly rubs, and constant companionship.
• Someone patient and understanding of her leash reactivity towards unfamiliar dogs.

Ongoing Health

Cocoa requires Proin to manage urinary incontinence. With her medication, she does wonderfully.

Training & Support

Cocoa can be leash reactive to new dogs, meaning she doesn't like unfamiliar dogs approaching her while she's on leash with her human. She gets nervous riding solo in the car, but with another dog beside her, she's calm, confident, and travels beautifully.
