"Dorito Ears" is what we affectionately call Trap! This smart cookie already knows common commands and is eager to learn even more from his future family. His favorite pastimes include discovering balls in the yard and spending time with his friends. Trap is a cuddle bug who would love a medium to active energy owner. This means someone who enjoys walks or can include him in their gardening time. He's happy to entertain himself with toys while you garden, but will check in periodically to ensure you know he's still your garden pal!
Trap is treat-motivated and selective with other dogs, meaning he can make friends with his peers with proper introductions. He is a little shy with strangers at first but will warm up to them once he trusts his humans. After he gets some energy out, Trap is content to relax, receive pets, nap, and play with his toys. He also loves to snuggle! He is house-trained and a great car rider. This intelligent pup also enjoys puzzle games and will thrive with an active person who will engage both his body and his brain.

Training & Support
Trap is house-trained and rides well in the car. He has a strong "sit" command and is working on "lay down." He is afraid of sizzling kitchen noises, curious about the dishwasher, and not a fan of vacuum sounds. He tends to gather his toys in a designated safe space.

Trap is currently located with our rescue partners in Northern California. Transportation can be arranged to Wags adoption events throughout the Pacific Northwest.
