Helga is a 4.5-year-old, 60lb Retriever Mix who is incredibly friendly, a little sassy, and full of love! She arrived as a stray last fall and, after working hard to regain her health and beautiful coat, she's now ready to find her forever home. Helga is house-trained and crate-trained, polite, and enjoys a good game of fetch with her favorite chew toys. She's also great on the leash and enjoys car rides, especially with the window cracked open a bit. Helga greets everyone with a smile and a wagging tail, knows basic commands like sit and down, and is gentle when taking treats.

Ideal Home

Helga would thrive in a home that can give her time to fully accept other dogs, as she can be selective.

Ongoing Health

Helga has been working to regain her health and coat, which is now looking gorgeous, though some areas are still filling in.

Training & Support

Helga is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands. She is polite and doesn't jump. She may need some extra time to fully accept other dogs.
