BEAN

Bean is a sweet, snuggly, athletic, and playful two-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is searching for his forever lap. He came to us with his sister, Pumpkin, and while he loves people and is very dog-social, he's a bit more laid-back than his sibling. Bean would love to be adopted with his sister, but we are also open to placing him in a home with another playful dog of a similar size. He does not believe Bean should be an only dog.

Ideal Home

Bean is an escape artist and requires an experienced and diligent adopter with a secure apartment or a double-gated yard. He would do best in a home without young children and with an existing playful dog of his size. He is eager to please but sensitive, and needs to be guided with gentle corrections. We suggest an adult home.

Ongoing Health

Bean is a young dog and is still learning.

Training & Support

Bean is not completely housebroken and is still learning to walk on a leash. He has made great strides in his housebreaking and basic obedience, but still exhibits some leash reactivity to other dogs. He will need a savvy adopter who will provide plenty of structure and training to help him become a good canine citizen.
