Mercy is a beautiful 3-4 month old German Shepherd mix weighing about 25 pounds, and she has a heart every bit as beautiful as her name. Mercy and her three siblings were born into an unwanted litter and rescued from a small Texas town just days before they were scheduled to be euthanized. Thanks to that second chance, this sweet girl is now searching for a forever family who will love her for the rest of her life. Mercy is the definition of a people puppy. She loves everyone she meets and will happily follow her favorite humans from room to room, always wanting to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether you're working, relaxing, or heading outside, Mercy just wants to be by your side. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, should do great with cats, and is great with kids, making her a fantastic addition to just about any family. She also has an adorable playful side—you'll often catch her wading around in the kiddie pool or sticking her nose into the water to blow little bubbles, a quirky habit that's guaranteed to make you smile. And those eyes... Mercy has the sweetest puppy dog eyes that can melt even the toughest heart. One look at her soulful expression, and you'll be completely smitten. Mercy has already overcome so much in her short life, but she hasn't let it dull her loving spirit.
