Bear is a handsome, confident, and people-loving guy with a big personality who is estimated to be just over 1 year old and weighs 60 lbs. He's a pittie mix with a lot of enthusiasm and curiosity for life. Bear is eager to learn and responds well to training, especially with treats! He absolutely shines when it comes to his people skills, enjoying human interaction and happily participating in whatever you're doing, or simply lounging nearby. Bear is already house and crate trained, making him a wonderful companion from the start.
Ideal Home
Bear would do well with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his playful nature. A dog-savvy, confident cat and slow introductions could also make him a great feline friend. He'll thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training.
Ongoing Health
Bear is a healthy, active boy with no specific health conditions mentioned.
Training & Support
As Bear is still a young dog, he's a work in progress! He needs continued guidance on leash to manage his excitement around other dogs. While he can be a little pushy with other dogs initially due to his puppy-like enthusiasm, he shows respect once he gets to know them. With proper introductions and structure, he'll be a fun playmate. Enrichment puzzles are a great way to keep his brain stimulated.
