Tindra is a 11⁄2-year-old Husky mix weighing 34 pounds who combines Husky energy with a gentle, affectionate nature. While she can be a little cautious when meeting new people, those who take the time to earn her trust are rewarded with an incredibly sweet companion. Tindra appreciates a slow, gentle introduction and likes to get comfortable at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her foster describes her as incredibly affectionate and loving. Like many Huskies, Tindra enjoys staying busy and would thrive with regular exercise, enrichment activities, and opportunities to explore the world alongside her family. During her dog evaluation, Tindra remained calm and non-reactive. She preferred her personal space and showed a gentle, conflict-avoiding style around other dogs. Tindra is looking for adopters who understand the needs of active dogs and can provide the physical and mental stimulation that helps her shine.
Ideal Home
Tindra would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, enrichment activities, and opportunities to explore. She could do well in a home with appropriately matched dogs, or placed as a solo dog with appropriate dog friends.
Ongoing Health
Tindra has an old healed leg injury that doesn't slow her down or appear to cause her discomfort. She remains mobile, active, and ready to enjoy life with her new family.
Training & Support
Tindra can be a little cautious when meeting new people, so a slow and gentle introduction is recommended. Patience and understanding will help Tindra become a wonderful companion.
