Colton

Colton is a spirited and sweet Blue Heeler mix who's ready to find his forever home! This energetic boy loves to run around and play, making him a fantastic active companion. Colton is a Puppies for Parole graduate and his handlers reported he did very well with his training, picking up all his basic commands. He is still a young dog with a lot of energy that will need to be directed in a positive way, and he loves to learn. While he is still wary of strangers, he would rather approach them when he is ready than have someone reach for him.

Colton would thrive in an active home with a patient owner who can help him channel his energy positively.

Colton could benefit from some leash training to help him refine his manners on walks. His loving nature and eagerness to please mean he will respond well to continued positive reinforcement.
