Rocket is pure sunshine in dog form! This 54 lb. Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, estimated to be born around June 8, 2021, LOVES adventures, whether it’s long walks, cuddle sessions, or hopping in the car for a ride. His favorite move? Resting his nose sweetly on your shoulder as your perfect travel buddy. He’s already proven to be a social superstar, making friends with everyone he meets, even a 1-year-old granddaughter of his foster mom! He was a little excited to see her but still very sweet. Rocket is a big guy with strong muscles and an even stronger spirit, perfect for any adventure you can dream up – walking, hiking, camping, car rides, and especially snuggling afterwards! Rocket's journey wasn’t easy; he and his two sisters were heartbreakingly left behind when their owners moved away. Despite it all, Rocket has held onto his big heart and even bigger smile, now he’s ready for the forever family he deserves.

Rocket is kennel and potty trained. He is also eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transportation
Rocket is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee, with pickup locations potentially varying to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed about dogs on transport. You must be able to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
