Sunshine

Hi there! My name is Sunshine — and I promise my smile is as bright as my name.

Not too long ago, I was found running down the street hungry, scared, and sick. But thanks to some love and care, I’m healthy, happy, and can’t stop wagging my tail! I adore other dogs of all sizes — I even share my food and play gently with my little Yorkie best friend. Kids make me so happy too, and I love when they stop to pet me. I haven’t met a cat yet, so I’m not sure what I’d think of them.

Some of my favorite things are chasing tennis balls, playing fetch, going for walks, and running around the yard with my dog friends. But my very favorite thing? Cuddling up close — I’ll happily rest my head on your lap and beam up at you with my biggest smile.

Ideal Home

Sunshine loves other dogs and children. She hasn't met cats yet.

Ongoing Health

Sunshine is currently heartworm positive but is on medication and on her way to being fully healthy.

Training & Support

Sunshine enjoys playing fetch and running around the yard. She also loves to cuddle.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoption fee: $50
• This fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention, plus a registered microchip.

Transporation

Sunshine is available for appointments Tuesday through Thursday. Walk-in visits are welcome on Fridays and Saturdays between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. We are closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
