Rocco would thrive in a home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit and also appreciates his downtime. He absolutely adores children and would be happiest in a family environment where he can shower kids with his affection. He also enjoys the company of other dogs who are a good mix of playful and calm, though he's also confident enough to be the only dog in the home. However, Rocco would do best in a home without cats. A backyard would be wonderful for him to explore and play.

Rocco is a smart boy who loves treats and is eager to please! He already knows how to sit and responds well to gentle corrections. While he can pull a bit on leash when he's excited about a walk, a simple correction reminds him to be a gentleman. He is crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. His willingness to learn means he'll pick up any new training with ease. He particularly loves plush toys with squeakers and enjoys bringing them back to his people.
