About Snoop

Some dogs survive the shelter. Snoop never stopped living. At just 1 year old, this handsome 46-pound Border Collie x Aussie mix found himself on the euthanasia list after becoming one of the longest residents at a rural Texas shelter. His time had run out, but we knew there had to be more to his story. Thankfully, we were right. Snoop is approximately 1 year old, weighs 46 pounds, is neutered, potty trained, kennel trained, and walks well on leash. He is dog friendly, loves people, and is not reactive to livestock. He's playful, affectionate, and full of life!

Since leaving the shelter, Snoop has settled beautifully into foster care and proven himself to be everything you'd want in a young companion. He's friendly, social, eager to learn, and always ready to join in on whatever adventure the day brings. Snoop is the kind of dog who wakes up excited about life. He loves being outside, exploring new places, going for walks, playing with his dog friends, and spending time with his people. He has a goofy personality that will keep you laughing, a sweet nature that wins hearts quickly, and an enthusiasm for life that's impossible not to love.

What we adore most about Snoop is how deeply he enjoys being part of a family. He doesn't just want a home—he wants to belong. Whether he's joining you on a hike, riding along for errands, hanging out in the backyard, or simply relaxing after a busy day, Snoop wants to be right there with you.

Ideal Home

Like most young herding breeds, he thrives when given structure, exercise, and opportunities to use both his brain and his body. He's not looking for a life spent watching the world go by from the couch. He's looking for someone to share life with. Someone who loves fresh air, weekend adventures, daily walks, and having a loyal best friend by their side.

Ongoing Health

Snoop is neutered.

Training & Support

Snoop is potty trained, kennel trained, and walks well on leash. Like most young herding breeds, he thrives when given structure, exercise, and opportunities to use both his brain and his body.
