Hoot

Meet Hoot! This fun-loving, active young pup was found abandoned but is now learning what safety, stability, and love truly feel like. He thrives on outdoor time and play sessions, and he's ready to find a forever family to help him continue growing. Hoot was born in December 2024 and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ideal Home

Hoot would do best in a home with a playful canine companion, as he absolutely loves romping around with other dogs. He's also okay with cats, though he can be a little curious. A secure, fenced yard is recommended, along with continued leash or harness use in public, to help him feel safe and build confidence.

Ongoing Health

Hoot is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been dewormed. He is microchipped and has had a fecal analysis. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Hoot is crate-trained and has earned free roam privileges when his foster is away due to his good behavior. He walks well on a leash and is beginning basic obedience training. While he's generally accident-free, he can be a little shy and skittish if approached too quickly and may be stand-offish as he builds trust. Patient adopters who understand that confidence comes with time and consistency will be key to his success.

Transportation

Hoot is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. He is available for transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
